Something wrong, or somebody? Write to dev@cuprank.app. It is read by the people who build CupRank — there is no phone queue and no bot — and it is the only address on any of these pages.
CupRank is a real-world coffee brewing game. A table of brewers all brew the same coffee, the cups are judged blind, and the result becomes a shared public record. The app runs that round: it takes the recipes, deals the blind codes, collects the ballots and publishes the placement.
Getting help
Email dev@cuprank.app. We read every message. Reports of objectionable content or an abusive person are answered within 24 hours; everything else, usually within a working day.
Four things make an answer fast:
- Your @handle — the public name you picked at first sign-in.
- The round — its link or its code, if the problem happened during one.
- Where you were — iPhone, Android or the website, and which screen.
- What you expected instead — a screenshot says it faster than a paragraph.
Reporting content or a person
CupRank publishes things people type — handles, real names if they switch them on, coffee names, tasting notes, event titles and the questions asked on an event’s page. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. There is no strike count and no warning quota.
Email dev@cuprank.app with REPORT in the subject, a link to what you saw or the @handle of the person, and one line about why. Send it whether it is aimed at you or at somebody else.
What happens next, every time:
- We look at it within 24 hours of the report arriving.
- Content that breaks the terms is removed.
- The account responsible is removed too, and the person is not welcome back.
- You get a reply saying what was done — not a ticket number.
Results are the one thing a report does not touch. A placement belongs to everyone who stood at that table, so removing an account anonymises its entries rather than rewriting what the table decided.
Trouble signing in
Sign-in is a one-tap link sent to your email, or Google or Apple sign-in. If the link has not arrived, check the spam folder first — it is sent from a plain Gmail address and lands there more often than it should. Ask for a new one rather than reusing an old link: each one is single-use and expires. If two tries fail, write to us with the address you are using and we will look at the account itself.
Deleting your account
You can do it yourself, and it happens immediately:
- iPhone and Android — open the Profile tab, tap Account settings, then DELETE ACCOUNT.
- Web — sign in, open Profile, then DELETE ACCOUNT.
Or email dev@cuprank.app from the address you signed up with and we will do it for you. Either way your account, your email address and your photos are deleted and your entries in shared game records are anonymised — the full account is in the privacy policy.
Privacy and terms
What we collect and what stays private is in the privacy policy. What you agree to by using CupRank — including the zero-tolerance rule above — is in the terms of use.
